Villages are where the world’s heart beats loudest.
The Village is not a place; it’s a concept.
The Village concept gives rural and remote families and individuals access to peer support from people who live nearby. In turn, their families gain peace of mind for their loved ones who choose to live in a small and often under-resourced community. Villages promote social engagement and mental wellbeing.
How the Village Works
All members of CCW can be members of the Village.
When you can, you can offer help to people in need.
When you need help, someone will help you.
You can be either a volunteer or a paid employee or contractor.

Current federal police check (or international)
Appropriate references
Verification of qualifications
Copies of registrations and licences
First aid certificate (if applicable)
Insurances
Vaccination records (if requested)
And as required by Aged Care legislation

Personal care
Domestic assistance
Home maintenance
Social support
Respite care
Transport services
Cultural activities
