Letter to the Editor, The Wagin Wool Press, 26 June 2026
Jan and John Elliot
My mother Nancy Biddulph was fiercely independent all of her life, so when it came to moving off the farm and into Wagin at the age of 97 years old, she had two options: move into permanent care, or independent living with the help of Co-operative Care Wagin.
This is where Wendy Pederick gave her a solution in Co-operative Care Wagin; to live at home with son Michael, with all the health care, cleaning, travel to the doctors, shops and of course with ‘Lite N Easy’ as part of the Aged Care Package. It became her salvation.
My congratulations to Co-operative Care Wagin, the wonderful Wendy Pederick and the staff (contract workers), for creating a caring option of independence.
You delivered on every promise made and gave my mother the in-home care and support she asked for – and more.
Co-operative Care Wagin is a kind, professional, and compassionate initiative and big bonus for people like my mother. Thank you from the Biddulph and Hall family.
